Meanwhile their children are being indoctrinated in the schools with an ideology that wants to convert them away from Christian values, and school age daughters are continually being pestered and approached by men who’ve just arrived from a land far far away.
Palestine does not exist, it never did
Islam and Marxism don't belong in Western World. Both don't believe in Democracy and should be stopped by all means necessary.

This has to be one of the most heartbreaking thing I have seen. I cannot even imagine what it has to be like for them. Thank you for making this documentary free on UA-cam, more people need to see this so that hopefully changes would be made in the way brands close their eyes on how their products are made.
Hello Deborah, thank you so much for your comment! its really means a lot. Your comment is exactly why we felt it's important that this documentary was never behind a pay wall. Its important for people to understand whats life is like for ordinary garment workers in Bangladesh and other countries where fast fashion clothes are being produced. Thank you and please do share the documentary with your friends. Hannan (Rainbow Collective)
The assistant manager said that a referral was required to get a food parcel this was a week of the first lockdown in march 2020.. Impossible considering closure of local service. Never again will I beg for food from pecan or trussel trust. I will rather eat out of dust bones

Hello Mr Patrick.

lol ik me too
After True Cost documentary the worlds eyes open. This incredible documentary is another layer to the seriousness of what MUST be changed no matter the industry. I think FASHION should take the lead in making that change NOW. Consumers should say NO MORE! These workers are people, human life matters. Human life is not a commodity no matter the country and their views, specially regarding gender bias. Thank you @futurelearn and @LondonCollegeOfFashion this is part of making the change to all four of the agenda's [cultural, ecological, economic & social]. Massive thank you to the incredible Ladies in this doc and of course big thank you to @rainbowcollective for making this doc!
You live very near me I saw the fire
Patrick you suck man.... I worked for the palace bingo Great Yarmouth and this man and he’s henchmen use there possession to abuse men who are straight! If you don’t agree to sleep with him you will be sacked!!!!!! Disgusting vial man
I was referred to this video from the Fashion and Sustainability course offered by the London College of Fashion, Centre for Sustainable Fashion, on Future Learn, and this is so profound and heartbreaking. Poverty is a tool wielded in the hands of oppressors across board. We need to challenge these oppressive systems everywhere, even in our local countries. I’m from Nigeria and this just gives more light to how oppressors use poverty and fear to achieve their wicked means. Educate people on their rights and keep fighting oppression. I’m appalled that the grandmother can’t visit the cemetery because she’s a woman, Christ! We need to always remember that THESE ARE REAL PEOPLE LIKE US, REAL CHILDREN, REAL HEARTS, REAL PAIN, REAL STORIES.

Haha what a dick
What a cock 😂😂😂
This makes me so sad ...studying fashion right now makes me not want to be a part of it a lot of it is just so gross... I don’t know how a person can treat another this way... I feel ashamed for supporting these companies for so long😢 changes are in order! Changes need to be made
Please film horizontally.
u suck bro
I saw in the news that rescuers think they may have found someone alive in the rubble one month after the horrific explosion in Beirut. I'm waiting and hoping to see a good outcome for that, but it made me think about all the awful things like this that have happened before. I wonder what has happened to these people now, the children who lost their parents and everyone else who was affected by this terrible ordeal. I wonder just how much things have improved for people in the factories and workshops, and how much safer they really are. It breaks my heart to watch this again and I'm going to try and find out as much as I can about how things have been made better for workers, or have these giant organisations just found other ways to exploit them and continue to put them at risk. What happened in Beirut is still being investigated, but again, it seems like money is the bottom line yet again, putting people at terrible risk rather than pay to protect them from something so dangerous.
Anne Margaret I watch this and I’m heartbroken too. I know there are many consumers of fast fashion that are unaware of this, however it seems like most people refuse to understand how serious it all really is. If we have the luxury of hiding behind a screen right now watching this, we most likely also have the privilege needed to be able to ignore the issue
@@melanie_meanders it's true, we can only talk nicely to people maybe an explain what the situation really is like for the people at the end of the chain ❣️
They say that one knows that one is growing old when policemen start to look too young. Perhaps something similar is true of racism. If I saw 'professor' Eliot-Cooper coming towards me on a deserted street, I would instinctively run. Surely a supposed expert in sociology should know that - for good or ill - people make snap judgements which are based upon superficialities. So, an academic who habitually looks like a violent drug-dealer is not making the best choices. He should get a shave and a haircut, and perhaps wear a suit.
Racist black attack on an a+e doctor leicester mercury!

I'm so angry!! This needs to have more views! Thank you so much for making this documentary! They're literally telling us that they need help from buyers abroad. We can all make a change together! I'm also here from the course Fashion and Sustainability in Future Learn btw, if anyone is interested.
